Building Stronger Neighborhoods, One Home at a Time
At Emerald Contracting MKE, “community” isn’t just a buzzword—it’s our driving force. Through volunteer-led repair days, sponsored block builds, and partnerships with local nonprofits, we invest our time, skills, and resources into the neighborhoods that built us. Discover how we bring faith-driven values and professional craftsmanship together to make Milwaukee a better place to live.
How We Help
- Free Home Repairs: Providing essential repairs for veterans and elderly homeowners to improve safety and quality of life. This includes fixing structural damage, upgrading electrical systems, addressing plumbing issues, and ensuring homes are secure and functional (note: we do not fix roofs).
- Volunteer Opportunities: Engaging our team and community in hands-on repair projects. Whether you’re a skilled tradesperson or eager to learn, we offer training and coordination to maximize your impact alongside Emerald Contracting MKE and Revitalize Milwaukee volunteers.
- Block Builds: Supporting neighborhood-wide initiatives to uplift entire communities. These events bring together resources and manpower to renovate multiple homes in a single area, fostering a sense of unity and revitalization while tackling larger-scale projects like porch rebuilds or exterior painting.
- Resource Connections: Linking homeowners with additional support services, such as energy efficiency upgrades or financial assistance programs, to provide holistic care beyond immediate repairs.
- Skill Development: Offering workshops and mentoring for local residents interested in learning construction skills, empowering them to contribute to future projects and their own home maintenance.
